Christmas Food Court Flash Mob, Hallelujah Chorus - Must See!

Tangerines

Well, they are Christmassy - and they are organic - and every advent calendar has the "also ran" prize!  It's been a busy day, and our decorations are not up yet.  Click the link above though - it's MUCH more impressive.

Christmas Lights Gone Wild

Snow cat

This is Vera.  Totally nonplussed with this snow malarki.  This might be the first of many cat in snow pictures for the countdown, or it might be the last as the temperature has increased significantly today, so everything is melting.  The forecast says that the cold spell could continue to the New Year... who knows!

Snowman

Only had 15 minutes at lunch for a quick walk around in the daylight.  Found that the students had not let me down and had left this micro snowman.

December 1st: snow

OK.  The rest of the country knows, but just to get it recorded in my personal photographic history of December 2010.  It does not usually snow this early in the UK, except in the very far north.  It rarely snows, and sticks, in Cheshire ... so this is quite remarkable.  The un-remarkable parts of the day were that I spent most of it working, marking to be exact, in my study.  My study is in our recently converted loft, so even marking in there is still a relative novelty.  The second picture is the view from the Velux in that study (if you lean outside as far as you can - and make the most of the zoom!)
